In Memory of the 412 Angels

On October 7th, 2023, 412 innocent souls were taken from us in a brutal massacre at the Nova, Mushroom, Psyduck, and Midburn festivals.
Their light guides us forward – we carry it with every step we take.

Our Vision

NovaHeaven is not just an art installation – it is a living memorial and a movement. We are here to honor the lives lost, to create a space for collective healing, and to transform grief into purpose. Inspired by the sacred tradition of Burning Man, our vision is to carry their memory into the heart of the playa and into the hearts of all who dance. We believe the angels’ light did not vanish – it now shines through us. It guides our steps, fuels our creativity, and spreads outward in waves of unity, art, and resilience. Through this light, we remind the world: love is louder than terror, and light and unity can rise even from ashes.

This year, we return to Burning Man 2025 - brighter, stronger, and with deeper intention

In the heart of the Deep Playa, NovaHeaven will rise: a sacred structure of memory and light. It will feature the Nova shade replica, the DNA to Heaven spiral inscribed with the names of our angels, the “We Will Dance Again” gate, and a new 360° stage hosting artists from around the world.

At Black Rock City, LumiNova Camp will host a dome dedicated to individual healing, reflecting our collective journey through workshops, meditations, conversations, and dance.

What We've Done

Born in 2024 as an act of remembrance and resilience, NovaHeaven brought light to the Playa in just two months. Since then, we’ve created spaces of healing and tribute – from Black Rock City to the world.
